Bible-Based Destinations
Those who have visited the land of Israel often describe the experience as deeply moving. Walking in the footsteps of Jesus and reflecting on the history of God's people in the land where it unfolded has a way of bringing Scripture to life.
Engaging Online & In-Person Members
Many ecclesias now include members who participate primarily or entirely online, whether due to distance, health, isolation, or other circumstances. These brothers and sisters are a vital part of ecclesial life, and intentional effort helps ensure they remain fully connected to the fellowship.
Community Bible Classes
Have you considered starting a small group Bible class with friends or co-workers, and wondered how to begin? We spoke with four believers whose combined experiences provide a wealth of ideas and encouragement to “just do it!”
Invigorating Prayer
Several ecclesias have taken steps to invigorate prayer in the lives of their members, with the aim of bringing glory to God and blessings to the ecclesia. The following examples are presented as efforts that have been found fruitful in a variety of ways.
The PEACE Project - Haiti
Support RVA Light, a Christadelphian run non-profit in Richmond, VA supporting the neighbors facing mental and physical illness, addiction, homelessness, unemployment, and food insecurity.
RVA Light - North America
Support RVA Light, a Christadelphian run non-profit in Richmond, VA supporting the neighbors facing mental and physical illness, addiction, homelessness, unemployment, and food insecurity.
Newcomer Support - North America
Sponsor families of newcomer Christadelphians, who have been resettled to North America, connect with the faith community at Bible Schools and ecclesial events.
Children’s Dental Care - South East Asia
Many children in South East Asia suffer from lack of access to basic dental care. Sponsor dental care for children in communities connected to Christadelphian ecclesias.
Sunday School Event - Philippines
Help WCF support faith in over 500 children in the Phillippines by sponsoring future Sunday School events and Bible Schools.
Water Tanks - South East Asia
Help WCF provide the local brethren in South East Asia with the materials for building 1000 liter concrete tanks to store clean water for themselves and their neighbors.
Prayer Workbook
Prayer is mentioned often in the Bible. Faithful men and women used prayer to convey to God their heartfelt thanks, petitions and concerns. In Philippians 4:6 the Apostle Paul instructs, “Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God” and in I Thessalonians 5:17, we are told to “pray without ceasing.” Jesus taught his disciples how to pray in Matthew 6.
Bible Book Box
This initiative is creating and placing a Bible Book Box at your Ecclesia, or in your community. (You may be familiar with the concept of a Little Free Library, which is a trademarked name, but the same concept.) The box has been piloted with children’s books, although each ecclesia may select their own books as desired.
Prayer Walk
This initiative invites ecclesias to walk through the neighborhoods surrounding their hall, offer a short silent prayer for each household, and leave a signed door hanger to let residents know they were remembered in prayer.
Rise Up and Share
Our Heavenly Father and His son Jesus Christ have instructed us to care for one another and be mindful of others’ needs. This Rise Up and Build Initiative is designed to encourage your ecclesia to look beyond the walls of your meeting place and serve the practical and spiritual needs of disciples, and potential disciples, who have not been blessed with the advantages we share.
