Bible-Based Destinations

Those who have visited the land of Israel often describe the experience as deeply moving. Walking in the footsteps of Jesus and reflecting on the history of God's people in the land where it unfolded has a way of bringing Scripture to life. For those who have not yet traveled to Israel, meaningful biblical experiences are still within reach much closer to home.

A growing number of Bible-based museums, exhibits, and attractions across North America offer a window into life in Israel millennia ago and can strengthen our faith in God's Word. Many ecclesias have found that visiting one of these destinations as a group makes for a particularly rewarding outing. In addition to extended fellowship among brothers and sisters, these visits offer children and young people opportunities to interact, participate, and engage with Scripture in new ways.

A word of caution is in order. The Bible remains our guide, and some destinations take artistic license or present beliefs that are not scriptural. Visitors should approach each experience thoughtfully, using it as a starting point for deeper study rather than a substitute for the Word itself.
