WHERE TO GO: 

  • 957 Camp Hebron Road, Halifax, PA

  • When you arrive go to Mountainside Haven.

  • Arrival after 6:00PM on Friday.

  • If you are going to be arriving after 11:00PM, please send an email to faithlaunch@wcfoundation.org. Include your name and phone number. We will make arrangements for late arrivals, and get in touch to give you the details.

  • Bring a gift (or 2) take a gift

  • Bring a favorite snack to share

WHAT TO BRING

  • Sleeping accommodations are cabin style - please bring your own linens, bedding, and towels (ear plugs in case someone snores)

  • Refillable water bottle

  • Pens, pencils and note paper

  • Bible and hymn books

  • Appropriate clothing for a Pennsylvania late fall weekend

ACTIVITIES

  • We will have recreation time from 2-5pm on Saturday afternoon. Sign-up sheets for the following activities will be available on Friday night at check-in.

  • If you are participating in horseback riding, high ropes course or climbing wall, please bring an activity fee (see table below), due at check-in on Friday night.  Camp Hebron will collect a waiver and requires participants wear closed-toe shoes (no crocks) and weigh less than 250 lbs.  Long pants are required for horseback riding.  

    1. Indoor Climbing Wall: $15/ Person

    2. High Challenge Course: $20/ Person

    3. Horseback Riding $25/person (limited space available so please consider a back-up option!)

  • For those not participating in the activities listed above, we have access to the Camp Hebron gym, sportsfields, pickleball, disc golf course and hiking trails so there is no shortage of activities.  Equipment will be provided but feel free to bring your own gear if you like.

  • Also, feel free to bring a favorite board game or other activity to enjoy with others during the afternoon free time.  

OTHER

  • WCF will have a videographer on-site. He will be informally interviewing any willing participants about your experiences. Participation is optional but if you're keen please let John Perks know.

  • COVID - if you are feeling sick before arrival, please test and consider others - please don’t come if you are ill!

  • If you haven't joined our Padlet yet, please do so at Padlet. Email faithlaunch@wcfoundation.org to be added to the group.

  • If you are not able to attend, please let us know.

  • The cost for the weekend is $50 (US) or $70 Canadian. If cost is an issue please let me know. We will be sending out an email regarding payment options.
