BASIC BIBLE TEACHING
The Basic Bible Teaching course was developed by Norm Fadelle for a series of
talks which were given at the Gospel of Peace (COGIC) Pentecostal Church in
Joliet, IL. The talks came at the request of Mazola Simpson, who is Norm's
co-worker and fellow Bible student. She had attended lunch-hour Bible study
sessions and the "Bible Basics" series at the Chicago Christadelphian
Church, and challenged Norm to fit Bible Basics onto a single sheet. The
eventual result was a diagram depicting the resurrection of Christ as a starting
point (click to view), with 10 lessons supported by relevant Scripture references.
These 10 lessons became the subject of the series of talks given at the Gospel of Peace church. Each lesson was accompanied by a PowerPoint presentation which is available for downloading below.
The PowerPoint version is Office 2000; the presentations are quite large because of the number of photos (e.g. lesson #5 is 43MB, since it contains a side show on the "Passion of Christ"). The pictures of Jesus are by Richard Hook. The sketches of Revelation scenarios are by Celia Sage. Aside from a couple of clip art extractions, all the diagrams, graphics etc. are by Norm.
